The existing stucco is completely prepared in order to ensure that structural integrity of the surfaces are re-established. State of the art crack repair treatment includes thirty-five year caulking to seal the crack and remain flexible. Then, fiberglass mesh or galvanized steel mesh is applied over the crack to reinforce the weakened area. Any damaged or broken areas are likewise restored to structural integrity before the recoat process begins. Now prepared, the existing stucco receives our unique three step stucco application process.

First: THE BONDING KEY COAT is tightly applied to ensure mechanical

attachment and adhesion.

Second: THE SMOOTHING DOUBLE COAT is quickly applied over the key

coat to provide a smooth, flat surface which has completely

covered and hidden the old stucco finish, including its texture.

Third: When dry, the new stucco receives THE TEXTURE COAT which may be hand trowelled, sprayed, or floated to create the type of finish

you want.

You don't have to stick with what you've had for the last twenty years.

These three steps are all completely coloured - over 200 colour choices - and, unlike a paint film cannot flake or chip off. This new coat, a 1/4 inch thick of real stucco, is a new generation of stucco for which STUCCO DOCTOR has the sole rights in Canada.

WHAT'S IN IT?

This special stucco additive which enhances conventional stucco performance is known as PRO-TECH. The PRO-TECH CORPORATION has awarded the sole rights to use this unique additive to the Stucco Doctor Corporation. This additive contains acrylics, polymers, fiberglass, and a host of other ingredients to make the product more adhesive, weatherproof, colourfast, stain-resistant, and insulative than regular stucco. This product is lighter in weight than conventional stucco and does not add a lot of unnecessary weight or thickness to the home.

WILL IT LAST?

This enhanced product is so predictable and so dependable that it can be applied successfully over any cementacious base. (All stucco and plaster, whether painted or natural; over bricks, blocks, concrete, etc. ) This superlative product has been applied right here on the west coast of Canada for almost twenty-five years --- and those homes are still going strong!
